Once you have checked and fully met all the requirements, the next step is to select an apprenticeship or job offer and submit the complete application documents (see checklist) to KKC.

• KKC will check your documents for completeness, quality and employability. If you are successful, you will receive an invitation to a personal interview via video call with KKC to discuss the next steps. 

 

• If we agree to work together, you will receive a service contract from KKC (see Service Applicants). Once the signed service contract has been signed and returned by the applicant, the agreed sum of €334 will be paid for training applicants only, which you will receive back from KKC after the probationary period.

• Our contract placement service is free of charge for both the trainee and the skilled worker. 

 

• After this step, the applicant for a training position applies for an appointment at the German embassy in their home country. 

 

• If applicants have not yet had their documents translated into German and notarised, this must be done now.  As soon as these documents are available, the applicant can apply for recognition themselves or have it applied for by KKC.  When applying through KKC, there are official costs which you can read about here. (Recognition by the authorities takes between 6 and 16 weeks, depending on the federal state).

• Your application documents will now be sent to KKC's potential customers. KKC and, if suitable, the applicant will then receive an appointment for an interview via video call. (It can take up to 2 weeks until the customer sends the invitation).

• Preparation for the interview. Feedback after the interview. If KKC's client makes a positive decision, the applicant receives their contract. (It can take approx. 3 weeks until the applicant receives the written confirmation.) 

 

• After the contracts have been signed, KKC will issue a power of attorney, if required, so that the pre-approval of your choice can take place. (The processing of the authority can take between 3-6 months).
